Last Weekend Before the MS150

(This is Paul)

I've never written on this blog that Erin created a few years ago, and it was only last week that she reminded me that this was OUR blog, not just hers. I'm up late tonight thinking about a big bike ride that I'm taking part in next weekend.

As she might have mentioned, we like bikes—we have a healthy collection of 7. They range from old cruisers and an old tandem to mountain bikes and road bikes. Next weekend, I'm riding my road bike in the MS150, a charity ride from Frisco to Fort Worth, TX, to raise money for multiple sclerosis. It's 150+ miles over two days, and it's going to be a lot of fun. This is fourth time I'm doing this kind of charity tour, but the first time that I have not trained for it, or at least not trained well for it. I'm a little nervous, but I think everything will be fine. Thankfully, I'm taking off the Monday after for recuperation. I might need Tuesday as well.

I'll post pictures when I recover.
